PassPhotoFree
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 November 2026
This policy explains what data PassPhotoFree handles, how the tool works, which analytics and measurement tools load by default when you open the site, and how you can manually disable them.
01 What this site does
PassPhotoFree is an ID photo editor. You choose a document, upload an image and adjust the framing. All processing — reading the file, cropping, background, compression and the print sheet — happens in your browser.
We do not create accounts, ask for your name, email or phone number, or keep a database of images.
02 Images and files
The image you select is read directly from your device and kept only in browser memory while you use the tool. It is never uploaded, copied or stored on our servers or third-party servers.
Closing or reloading the page discards the image and adjustments. You can revoke access to the file at any time by closing the tab. Downloaded photos stay only in your device’s downloads folder.
03 Cookies and advertising
The site may show Google AdSense ads to stay free. Google and its partners may use cookies or identifiers to personalise ads based on previous visits to this and other websites. Microsoft Clarity and Google Tag Manager load by default when you open the site and may also set cookies; see the specific sections below.
You can manually disable external tracking using the control on this page, turn off ad personalisation in Google Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com) or manage cookies in your browser settings. Blocking ads or analytics does not affect how the tool works.
04 Usage analytics — Microsoft Clarity
To understand where people run into difficulties, the site loads Microsoft Clarity (project za6ldvr15w) by default on page load. Clarity may record page views, clicks, scrolling, device type, browser and interactions, and may set its own cookies. Further processing is handled by Microsoft under its privacy policy.
The areas that show the user’s photo, preview, print sheet and camera are marked to be masked in session recordings. The original file and the processed image stay in your browser; they are not sent to Clarity.
Clarity is not used for advertising on this site. You can manually disable its loading using the control on this page or block cookies in your browser; that does not prevent you from using the editor.
05 Google Tag Manager
The site loads Google Tag Manager (GTM-54BXG324) by default on page load to manage measurement tags. GTM itself is a manager: the tags configured in the container may load Google Analytics, Google Ads or other tools and may set cookies. Processing is handled by those tag providers under their own policies.
GTM does not receive the editor image file; the photo is processed locally. The photo, preview, print sheet and camera areas are masked in Microsoft Clarity; additional tools loaded by GTM must be configured not to capture those areas.
External tracking loads active by default when accessing the site, and you can manually disable it at any time using the control on this page or your browser’s cookie settings.
06 Technical data
Apart from Microsoft Clarity and Google Tag Manager described above, Cloudflare (our host) measures page performance with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify visitors. We do not use other analytics tools or create user profiles. The hosting provider may keep aggregate technical logs such as IP address, browser type and access date for security and performance.
The last document you selected (`pp.document`) , your country (`pp.country`), your cookie preferences (`pp.consent`) and the dismissed notice (`cookieNoticeDismissed`) are saved in your browser’s local storage (`localStorage`). This data stays on your device and can be removed by clearing site data.
07 Your rights and control
Because we do not keep personal data or photos on our own servers, there is no user account or database to inspect or delete. You exercise direct control by manually disabling external tracking on this page and clearing your browser’s local site data.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or the law. The date at the top shows the current version.
